Adjacent to all amenities, 3 minutes walk from ´The Tree of Idleness´ and several other excellent restaurants, the village bar and well stocked shop with fresh bread and anything else you might need.

Bellapais, with its renown 15th century Abbey holding a commanding position on the edge of the escarpment that the village has been built on, is the most sought after district of Northern Cyprus.

It was also the home of Gerald Durrell of ´Bitter Lemons´ fame in which he describes with such insight, the day to day goings on in Bellapais during the 1950s. The Abbey is floodlit and can be seen for miles from the coast down below. Partly still in tact, the Abbey is well worth a tour.

There are also important classical music festivals held there three or four times a year. Villa Ravine is 2 minutes walk from Bellapais Abbey car park.
